Lavenderwood Farm is an urban micro dairy focusing on youth agriculture.  

 

We are passionate about knowing where are food comes from, which is our primary focus.  Local teens are encouraged to understand the energy, expense and effort it takes to bring a meal to the family table.  

 

Our young people are provided the opportunity to use and apply a Socratic approach to animal husbandry.  Learning traditional methods of farming along with new technologies in agriculture.

 

Most importantly, our Teens educate and encourage novices and juniors in a nuturing rich environment.
